Rosuchek D Tablet is used to treat high cholesterol. It is a combination of two medicines that reduces "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats) levels in the body. It may also reduce risk of future heart attack and stroke.

Rosuchek D Tablet is used to treat high cholesterol. It is a combination of two medicines that reduces "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats) levels in the body. It may also reduce risk of future heart attack and stroke. Lifestyle changes like low-fat diet, exercise, and not smoking may help this medicine to work better. It may cause diarrhea as a side effect, so it is better to have this medicine with food. It may change liver function and blood sugar levels so monitor them properly. This medicine may also cause reduction in calcium levels, so have regular blood tests to monitor the level of calcium. Dizziness, stomach pain, muscle pain, and constipation are some other side effects associated with this medicine.

What if you forget to take Rosuchek-D Tablet?

Rosuchek D Tablet treats high cholesterol by lowering "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats). It should be taken in addition to regular exercise and low-fat diet.
It decreases the risk of heart diseases and helps prevent stroke and heart attack.
It should be taken in the evening after dinner and before sleeping.
In general, Rosuchek D Tablet is safe. It may cause diarrhoea, gas or an upset stomach. If any of these happen to you, take it with food.
It may cause the amount of calcium in your blood to fall. Take calcium rich food in your diet and have regular blood tests to monitor the level of calcium in your blood.
Notify your doctor if you experience yellow eyes or skin or dark urine after starting the medication.
