How to use Saliso Soap

Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use.

How Saliso Soap works

Saliso Soap is a combination of two keratolytic medicines: Coal Tar and Salicylic Acid which treat psoriasis. They work by breaking down keratin clumps, removing dead skin cells and softening the skin.

Quick tips

  • Saliso Soap is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort associated with psoriasis.
  • It may take several weeks to show its action. Keep using it as suggested by your doctor.
  • Wash your skin with a mild cleanser and pat it dry before applying Saliso Soap.
  • Apply it as a thin layer onto a clean, dry, unbroken infected area of skin.
  • Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas.
  • Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
  • After you have applied Saliso Soap, remember to wash your hands (unless your hands are the treated area).
  • Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome skin dryness during the course of treatment.
