Scabies
Scabies is a condition caused by tiny insects called mites that infest and irritate your skin. Scabigard Lotion kills the mites and their eggs present on the skin. This gives relief from itching, swelling and redness. Scabigard Lotion also helps kill head lices and their eggs, therbey giving you relief from itching and irritation caused by lice. It is normally effective in one or two applications however complete the course of treatment for better results.

How Scabigard Lotion works

Scabigard Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Lindane and Cetrimide. It works kills microorganisms that cause scabies. It is also potent in paralyzing and killing the lice and their eggs.

Quick tips

  • Scabigard Lotion is prescribed for the treatment of scabies (a condition where tiny insects infest and irritate your skin).
  • Apply a thin layer of this medicine all over the body and leave it for 8-14 hours before taking a bath or shower.
  • Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
  • You will still be itchy for a while after successful treatment. If the itching becomes troublesome to you, consult your doctor to ease this. Moisturizing creams can provide temporary relief from itching.
  • Clothes, towels, and bed linen should be machine-washed with hot water after the first application of treatment. This helps kills the scabies mites.
