Benefits of Sispas Tablet

Menstrual pain
Sispas Tablet relieves the pain due to muscle cramps during menstrual cycles (periods). It relaxes the muscles and prevents sudden contractions (spasms) of muscles. It also blocks chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain sensation. This helps to treat abdominal pain (or stomach pain) as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort. Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. You may also use a heating pad, take a hot water shower, avoid stress and try mild exercise for easing out the pain. Eventually, it will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

How Sispas Tablet works

Sispas Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Magnesium Trisilicate and Mefenamic Acid which relieve abdominal pain. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic. It works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions, thereby relieving cramps and pain. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking certain chemical messengers that cause pain, but may damage the stomach lining. Magnesium Trisilicate is an inorganic salt which is added to prevent damage to the stomach lining.
