Product introduction

Stucuf-AT Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, headache, rash, tremor, and increased heart rate. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine can also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can make sleepiness worse.

Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Stucuf-AT Syrup gives relief from cough by loosening thick mucus and making it easier to cough it out. It also makes it easier for air to move in and out of your airways. This reduces the frequency of coughing and makes you feel better. Stucuf-AT Syrup also soothes your throat and gives relief from irritation. Along with medications, drink enough luke warm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

No, taking higher than the recommended dose may not be more effective, rather it may increase the chances of having increased side effects. If you do not find any relief in your symptoms while taking Stucuf-AT Syrup, please consult your doctor.
Stucuf-AT Syrup is indicated in the treatment of a cough that is associated with excessive mucus secretion.
It is not recommended to use Stucuf-AT Syrup if you have hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formulation. Avoid the medication if you have pre-existing ischaemic heart disease, significant risk factors for ischaemic heart disease and gastric ulceration.
Keep this medicine in the container it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.

Final and perfect diagnosis cannot be done without doing clinical examination of child. Please consult me or any other Paediatrician. will take detail history and will examine your child in detail. At time may ask you relevant investigations if necessary. All information will be used to determine exact underlying cause of problem. Depending upon cause will prescribe you treatment. Your child may need antibiotics. It is mandatory for the customer to have a prescription for the prescription medicines he/she is procuring. Valid prescription cannot be given without diagnosis.
