Benefits of Sulosin-D Tablet

Treatment of Benign prostatic hyperplasia
When your prostate gland becomes enlarged it can cause urinary problems such as difficulty passing urine and a need to go to the toilet frequently or urgently. It can also cause urine flow to be slower. If not treated, there is a risk that your urine flow will be completely blocked. Sulosin-D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: dutasteride and tamsulosin. Dutasteride reduces the size of your prostate by blocking the production of a hormone which causes it to grow. Tamsulosin works by relaxing muscles in the bladder and prostate. Together they can rapidly relieve the symptoms and make it easier for you to urinate. However, it may take up to 6 months to notice the full benefit. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed for maximum benefits.

How Sulosin-D Tablet works

Sulosin-D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tamsulosin and Dutasteride, which relieves the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so as to allow easy passage of urine. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor which helps in shrinking the prostate gland by decreasing the level of the hormone which helps the prostate gland grow.

It is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
The use of Sulosin-D Tablet is considered to be harmful for men under the age of 18 years as it may affect the normal development of the male reproductive tract.
