You should take it in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. But, before taking it report to doctor if you have any known allergy to this medication. Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to check the levels of blood cells in your blood. Remember to inform doctor if you experience unexplained bleeding, fever, or general illness. Your doctor may advice for monitoring of liver function.

It may cause skin rash, headache, paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation) and hair loss as its side effects.

No, you should not stop taking Thyrodip 10mg Tablet even if you start feeling better. You may have to take it for several months depending on your investigations. The duration of the treatment will continue till the thyroid hormone levels return to normal. This duration may vary from six months to 18 months. Your doctor will decide when the treatment should be stopped.
You may start feeling better within 1-3 weeks of starting Thyrodip 10mg Tablet. However, it usually takes 4-8 weeks to see the full benefits of the treatment.
Thyrodip 10mg Tablet may cause hair loss but not in everyone. It has been seen that on discontinuing Thyrodip 10mg Tablet or replacing Thyrodip 10mg Tablet with another medicine, there is improvement, and hair loss reverses.

Very rarely, Thyrodip 10mg Tablet interferes with the bone marrow and causes a drastic drop in white blood cells. These white blood cells are a part of the body's defense against bacterial infections, such as sore throats. So, a sore throat can sometimes be the first clue that Thyrodip 10mg Tablet is affecting the bone marrow. Your sister should contact her doctor and get a blood test. If a blood test shows her white blood cell count to be normal, then she can continue Thyrodip 10mg Tablet. If not, she should stop the treatment after consulting the doctor.
The effectiveness and side effects of Thyrodip 10mg Tablet in children are more or less the same as in adults. Thyrodip 10mg Tablet should not be used in children less than 2 years of age.
If you have started taking Thyrodip 10mg Tablet, the dose of warfarin may need adjustment. You should consult your doctor and get your bleeding time checked so that the dose can be adjusted according to the results of the investigations.
Yes, Thyrodip 10mg Tablet may cause liver problems, though not in everyone. A very common side effect of Thyrodip 10mg Tablet can be the yellowing of skin and eyes (jaundice).
