Product introduction

Tropma Eye Drop is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Refrain from touching the tip of the dropper to any surface to avoid contaminating the eye drops.

Using a Tropma Eye Drop can make your eyes more sensitive to light. Thus, wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from sunlight and other bright lights. The common side effects include pain, stinging, blurring of the vision, photophobia, and allergic reaction. Usually, these symptoms resolve quickly.

However, if the symptoms persist or get worse, contact your doctor. It is not advised to drive after using this medicine as it may cause temporary blurring of the vision and may affect your ability to drive.

Tropma Eye Drop is a medicine that helps to increase the size of the pupil of the eye so that eye examinations can be carried out thoroughly. Tropma Eye Drop also gives relief from eye pain by relaxing the eye muscles. This medication starts to work in minutes, and its effect usually lasts 24 hours or sometimes longer. It is advisable to inform your doctor if you continue to have blurred vision, sensitivity to light, or dilated (increase in size) pupils several days after your examination.

How to use Tropma Ophthalmic Solution

Tropma Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Phenylephrine and Tropicamide.

  • Tropma Eye Drop allows your doctor to examine your eye more easily.
  • If you wear eye lenses, avoid wearing them immediately after using Tropma Eye Drop. You may wear spectacles instead. Your doctor will be able to advise you on this.
  • If you are using any other eye drops or ointments, leave at least five minutes between applying each one.
  • Inform your doctor if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any eye drops.
