Clean and dry the affected area before applying Ultitar CS Ointment. Use it atleast 2-3 times a day or as prescribed. You may see change in your skin appearance after few weeks.

How Ultitar CS Ointment works

Ultitar CS Ointment is a combination of three medicines: Clobetasol, Salicylic Acid and Coal Tar which treat psoriasis. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid and Coal Tar are keratolytic medicines which break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells and soften the skin.

It may take several weeks to show its action. Keep using it as suggested by your doctor.
Wash your skin with a mild cleanser and pat it dry before applying Ultitar CS Ointment.
Apply it as a thin layer onto a clean, dry, unbroken infected area of skin.
Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas.
Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome the skin dryness during the course of treatment.
