Product introduction

Visumab 0.5mg Injection is administered directly into the eyeball by an eye specialist. You should not self administer this medicine at home. The common side effects include conjunctival hemorrhage, eye pain, eye floaters, increased intraocular pressure, and eye inflammation.

However, if you experience these side effects for a longer duration or any other symptoms which you think may be due to this medicine, please inform your doctor. It is not advised to drive after administration of this injection as it may cause blurring of vision.

How Visumab Injection works

Visumab 0.5mg Injection is a monoclonal antibody. It works in cancer by stopping the formation of blood vessels that bring oxygen and nutrients to cancerous cells. This may slow the growth and spread of cancer.

Quick tips

  • It may cause temporary visual disturbances. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how Visumab 0.5mg Injection affects you.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience increased eye pain and redness, blurred or decreased vision, or increased sensitivity to light.
  • Wear sunglasses if your eyes feel sensitive to light
  • Use eye drops if they are prescribed to you by your doctor.
  • Ask your doctor if you should avoid any particular activities.
  • Try to rest your eyes as much as possible (for at least a few hours).
