How Volik D Tablet works

Volik D Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Dextropropoxyphene. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) as well as an antipyretic (fever reducer). Diclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). Together, both of them work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain. Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic ( very strong pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower the pain perception.

Volik D Tablet is used to treat various painful conditions.
Do not take any other medicines containing Paracetamol in it without consulting your doctor.
Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea).
Drink plenty of water while taking Volik D Tablet.
If you have asthma, symptoms such as wheeze or breathlessness might become worse by Volik D Tablet. If this happens to you, consult your doctor immediately.

Volik D Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Volik D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Volik D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Volik D Tablet is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.
