Vortixet 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but take it at the same time each day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you need it will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your symptoms. It may be increased gradually. If you have trouble sleeping it may be best to take this medicine in the morning. It may take a few weeks before you start to feel better. Do not change the dose or stop taking it without talking to your doctor, even if you feel well. Your condition may get worse or you may suffer unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Let your doctor know if you do not see any improvement after four weeks.

Some common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, nausea, and constipation. Keep taking the medicine but talk to a doctor if these side effects bother you. There may be ways of preventing or reducing them. You should avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.

Before taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have epilepsy, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, heart problems, glaucoma, drug addiction or bipolar disorder. These may affect your treatment. What if I stop taking Vortixet 10mg Tablet?

You should never stop taking Vortixet 10mg Tablet without discussing it with your doctor. If you stop taking Vortixet 10mg Tablet abruptly, you may have withdrawal symptoms such as irritability, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, nightmares, headache, and/or paresthesias (prickling, tingling sensation on the skin). Continue taking Vortixet 10mg Tablet for the duration as prescribed by your doctor to get maximum benefit. If you are not able to tolerate a dose or if you have completed your course of treatment, your doctor will reduce your dose gradually before taking you off this medicine completely.

Should Vortixet 10mg Tablet be taken in the morning or at night?

Vortixet 10mg Tablet can be taken once a day either in the morning or at night. However, it is usually recommended to take Vortixet 10mg Tablet once a day in the morning since it can make you feel restless or keep you awake if taken late at night.
