How Astaxanthin works

Astaxanthin is an antioxidant. It is a reddish pigment produced by the alga Haematococcus pluvialis. Its antioxidant property helps to protect the cells from free radicals (toxins) that is produced in the body due to pollution, UV rays, smoking, etc. It also rejuvenates the skin cells to prevent early aging.
