Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine + Guaifenesin + Triprolidine is a combination of four medicines. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain.  Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from chest congestion. Guaifenesin works by decreasing the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Triprolidine is an antihistaminic medication.
