How Fluconazole + Zinc pyrithione works

Fluconazole + Zinc pyrithione is a combination of two antifungal medicines: Fluconazole and Zinc pyrithione which treat dandruff. Fluconazole kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane. Zinc pyrithione works by penetrating the cell membrane of the fungi to interfere with their energy metabolism and oxygen uptake. This kills the fungi and clears up the infection.
