Lactitol + Fructo Oligosaccharide is a combination of two medicines: Lactitol and fructo oligosaccharide relieves constipation. Lactitol is an osmotic laxative which works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, making the stool soft and easier to pass. fructo oligosaccharide is a live microorganism, when given in adequate amounts, provides health benefits. It restores the balance of good bacteria (microorganisms) in the intestine that may be destroyed with the use of antibiotics or due to intestinal infections.
