How Levosalbutamol + Budesonide works
Levosalbutamol + Budesonide is a combination of two medicines: Levosalbutamol and Budesonide. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Budesonide is a corticosteroid. It acts by stopping the release of certain natural substances in body that are responsible for inflammation (swelling) in the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.

- Your doctor may regularly monitor your blood potassium level as low oxygen level in the blood (hypoxia) and medicines such as Levosalbutamol + Budesonide can lower blood potassium level.
- Only miniscule amounts of Levosalbutamol + Budesonide may get absorbed into the bloodstream after inhalation. Hence, serious side effects are unlikely.
