Mosapride Uses

Mosapride is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux), heartburn, indigestion, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome.

How Mosapride works

Mosapride indirectly stimulates the release of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger that can increase the motility of the intestine.

Common side effects of Mosapride

Diarrhea, Dryness in mouth, General discomfort, Abnormal liver function tests, Fulminant hepatitis (viral infection of liver), Jaundice
