Rebamipide Uses

Rebamipide is used in the treatment of intestinal ulcers, peptic ulcer disease, stomach ulcers and mouth ulcers.

How Rebamipide works

Rebamipide is a mucosal protective agent. It increases the synthesis of prostaglandin, a chemical messenger which improves healing of the ulcer.

Taste change, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Nausea, Constipation, Dizziness, Drowsiness, Burping, Heartburn, Abdominal pain, Decreased white blood cell count (lymphocytes), Menstrual disorder

  • Rebamipide helps in the treatment of stomach, intestinal and mouth ulcers.
  • It can also be taken while you're taking NSAIDs (anti-inflammatory and analgesic drug) to lowers the chance of developing stomach ulcers.
