Sultamicillin tosilate Uses

Sultamicillin tosilate is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used for short-term treatment of bacterial infections of sinuses, urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue, abdomen and lungs (pneumonia).

How Sultamicillin tosilate works

Sultamicillin tosilate is a double ester of sulbactam plus ampicillin. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering. It has enhanced activity against bacteria and less antibiotic resistance.

  • Your doctor has prescribed Sultamicillin tosilate to cure your infection and improve your symptoms.
