How Trispas Injection works
Trispas Injection is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Pitofenone and Fenpiverinium. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain, fever and inflammation (redness and swelling). Pitofenone and Fenpiverinium are anticholinergics. They work by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) to stop sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, they relieve cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort..
