Cyproterone+Ethinyl Estradiol is used in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It treats the symptoms of PCOS such as excessive hair growth (hirsutism), acne and irregular periods.

Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol is a combination of two hormonal medicines: Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol1 and Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol2 which treats PCOS symptoms such as acne, excessive hair growth (hirsutism) and irregular periods. Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol1 works by blocking the overproduction of androgens (male hormones) in the ovaries, thereby reducing unwanted hair growth and acne. Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol2 enhances the effect of Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol1 by reducing the amount of androgens in the blood. Together, they also regularize the menstrual cycle in PCOS.
