Common

Side Effects of Doncef SB are Increased white blood cell count (eosinophils), Decreased white blood cell count (lymphocytes), Low blood platelets, Rash, Diarrhea, Increased liver enzymes, Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness).

How Doncef SB Products work

Ceftriaxone + Sulbactam is a combination of two medicines: Ceftriaxone + Sulbactam1 and Ceftriaxone + Sulbactam2. Ceftriaxone + Sulbactam1 is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Ceftriaxone + Sulbactam2 is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone + Sulbactam1 against bacteria.
