How Sulphachlor Products work

Chloramphenicol + Sulphacetamide is a combination of two antibiotics: Chloramphenicol + Sulphacetamide1 and Chloramphenicol + Sulphacetamide2 which treat eye infections. Chloramphenicol + Sulphacetamide1 stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Chloramphenicol + Sulphacetamide2 works by preventing the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
