Antess is a nutraceutical preparation containing evening primerose oil indicated for use as a dietary supplement in women. Each capsule of Antess contains evening primerose oil (EPO) 500 mg.
EPO is a rich source of omega-6 fatty acids and gamma-linolenic acid. Omega-6 fatty acids are essential fatty acids, they need to be supplemented by diet as body cannot synthesize these fatty acids. Essential fatty acids are useful in various processes throughout the body. The omega-6 fatty acids in Antess are converted to prostaglandins and various hormone like substances.
