Barocal Forte tablet contains Ferrous ascorbate and Folic acid.
Role of Active Ingredient:
Barocal Forte tablet is used for the prevention and treatment of low iron levels in the body. It plays a major role for the metabolic processes in the body by facilitating production of red blood cells, which carry oxygen. Presence of ascorbic acid further facilitates absorption of iron in the blood and promotes overall immunity of the body. It acts as an antioxidant. It also contains folic acid, which helps in maintaining the overall metabolic capacity and proper functioning of the body.
Barocal Forte tablet is used for the treatment of iron-deficiency anemia, which might happen due to improper diet, increased nutritional needs during pregnancy and prolonged illnesses.

Iron deficiency due to chronic blood loss or low intake of iron
