Directions for Use:
Dettol Antiseptic Disinfectant Liquid

• First Aid: For cleaning minor wounds, mix 1 tablespoon in 250 ml of water (1:20)

• Shaving: Mix 2 teaspoons in a mug of water (1:20)

• Nappy Wash: Mix 1 tablespoon in 500 ml of water (1:40)

• Bathing: Add 1 teaspoon to a bucket of water

• Disinfection: Dilute and use for disinfection of floors and hard surfaces

• Midwifery: Use to disinfect water, linen, and hard surfaces. Apply only on intact skin

• For external use only

• Storage: Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children

• If swallowed, rinse your mouth and drink plenty of water or milk

• If contact is made with eyes, wash them thoroughly with cold water. In both cases, consult your doctor

• Not for use around the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth

• Not for use in children below one year of age

• Never use undiluted. May irritate if applied as a spray. When spraying, keep away from the body, avoid contact with eyes, and do not inhale the spray

• Not for personal use if pregnant. Do not use on the skin of the breast when breastfeeding except under doctor's supervision

• Do not use it if you are allergic to Chloroxylenol or any ingredient. Avoid use if you have eczema

• Take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours

• Minimum dosing interval: 4 hours

• Maximum dose in 24 hours: 6 tablets

• Do not exceed the stated dose

• Use the smallest effective dose for the shortest period necessary

• Do not take for more than 3 days without medical advice

• Do not use in children under 11 years of age

• Do not use with other paracetamol-containing products

• Do not use if allergic to paracetamol, any other ingredient in the product, aspirin, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

• Seek medical advice if symptoms persist, or if the patient is suffering from liver or kidney problems, or taking blood-thinning medication

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture

• Keep out of reach of children

• Do not use if the packaging is damaged

• Taking more than the maximum recommended daily dose of paracetamol may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (e.g., swelling of the face, mouth, and throat, difficulty in breathing)

• After gently cleaning and drying the affected area, apply a small amount, and ensure to wash hands before and after application; optionally cover with a sterile bandage

• Apply Betadine 10% ointment as per the healthcare provider’s instructions

• Puncture nozzle seal with the piercing point of the cap

• Store in a dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius
