BECOZED AX TABLET contains Vitamin C, Beta Carotene , Vitamin E .
Beta-carotene is a provitamin of vitamin A which is responsible for improving vision, proper functioning of the skin, development and functioning of the layer of skin known as epithelium. Beta-carotene is a very powerful antioxidant which kills the free radicals and reduce the oxidative stress, which may damage the structure of cell membrane and cause uncontrolled cell division. Beta-carotene accumulated in the skin protects it by absorbing sun radiation.
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) cannot be synthesized by humans; therefore, a dietary source is necessary. It is a reducing agent in tyrosine metabolism and, by acting as an electron donor in the conversion of folic acid to tetrahydrofolic acid, is indirectly involved in the synthesis of purine and thymine. Vitamin C is also necessary for the incorporation of iron into ferritin. Vitamin C increases the phagocytic function of leucocytes; it possesses anti-inflammatory activity and it promotes wound healing.
