Bixa Botanical Sunth Powder is formulated with Ginger/ Zingiber or Suntha [Botanical Name - Zingiber officinale] and is an important herb/spice in Indian families largely cultivated in warm, moist regions chiefly in Madras, Cochin and Travancore.
Suntha or Ginger is easily digested, absorbed from the intestines and has anti-flatulency and intestinal spasm reducing properties. Ginger helps clean the tongue's toxicity by removing undigested food materials and supports the appetite. The aromatic oil present in the ginger rhizome helps prevent bad breath, improve salivary secretion (sialagogue), and promote gastro-intestinal tract movements. Ginger is also useful in common cold and cough, where there is immunity suppression and fever sets in.
Ginger promotes the removal of extra phlegm from the bronchus and respiratory tract and reduces symptoms of acute bronchitis/ Sinusitis and headache/ body ache. On a long-term basis, Suntha/Ginger can be used as hot water infusion drink like herbal tea in the evening to relieve symptoms of rheumatic conditions like joint heaviness, pain and warmness.

Directions For Use:- External: Take 2 tsp powder, mix 1 tsp Pippali powder, make a paste with warm water & apply over painful Joints, keep for 2-3 hours & then wash it
