Calvit Tablet is a combination of Calcium carbonate and vitamin D3. It is an excellent calcium supplement to build bones. Calcium and Phosphorous are the two major components of bone. They are important in the metabolism of cells in the body and bone, therefore functions as a storage reservoir.
Vitamin D is essential for promoting absorption, utilization of Calcium & Phosphate and for normal calcification of bone. It regulates serum Calcium concentration – a homeostatic mechanism. It stimulates Calcium & Phosphate absorption from small intestine and mobilize calcium from bone.
It is used to treat and prevent low blood calcium levels in the blood. It is used to treat conditions such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia and rickets. It is given for pregnant women and post-menopausal women to make sure that they get enough calcium.

Directions for use:
1 tablet 2 to 3 times daily with meals or as directed by the Physician
