Product information

CP Tablet contains Calcium pantothenate. This water-soluble vitamin acts as an antioxidant and plays a very important role in the decomposition of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Pantothenic acid or calcium pantothenate is a precursor of coenzyme A and is required for various metabolic functions, including metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids. It is also used in the synthesis of steroids, porphyrins, acetylcholine, and other substances. Pantothenic acid may also be necessary for normal epithelial function.
Pantothenic Acid is also involved in the production of heme (for red blood cells) and the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Vitamin B5 may also support the immune system.
