- Salicylic acid is a keratolytic or peeling agent
- It acts as a scale lifter, helping to soften and remove psoriasis scales as well as promotes shedding of psoriatic scales without affecting epidermis structure
- Salicylic acid also facilitates greater penetration of topical medication
- Coal tar reduces the turnover of the skin cells and reduces inflammation and have anti-scaling properties
- It offers antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and inhibit keratinocyte proliferation
Directions For Use:
- Apply a small amount to the affected area
- Massage in gently
- Allow to air dry before touching clothing
- Apply usually 1 to 4 times a day or as directed by your doctor
- Do not apply to broken or infected skin unless directed by your doctor
