Fitonic Syrup is used to treat iron deficiency and contains Elemental Iron – 33 mg.
Role of key ingredients:
Elemental iron, also known as carbonyl iron is a form of the mineral iron. Elemental iron is used as a dietary supplement to treat iron deficiency caused by either chronic blood loss or poor absorption. Iron is required for the transportation of oxygen and carbon dioxide in blood, and is predominantly found in the haemoglobin of red blood cells and in the myoglobin of muscle cells. Elemental iron also helps women to make up for iron deficiency caused by heavy menstrual periods.
