Folitab Tablet

Folitab Tablet contains 5 milligrams of folic acid. Folic acid from the Folitab Tablet reduces the levels of homocysteine in the blood to decrease the ill-effects of oxidative stress, boosts cell production, prevents and treats megaloblastic anemia, and reduces the risk of infants developing neural tube defects.
Folitab tablet should be taken by women who have experienced an affected pregnancy before undergoing subsequent conception and during the first trimester of pregnancy as it reduces neural tube defect and anemia risk. Folitab tablet also decreases side effects in rheumatoid arthritis patients consuming methotrexate. It is also indicated for hyperhomocysteinemia and irritable bowel syndrome patients.
