Lycoprost SP Tablet is an Antioxidant preparation contains Pygeum Africanum.
Pygeum is a phytotherapeutic product extracted from the bark of ‘Pygeum Africanum Hooker’, a tree found in South and Central Africa. Pygeum extract is a natural association of substances like phytosterols, pentacyclic tritepenes, and ferulic acid esters of fatty alcohols, with synergistic pharmacological effects on prostrate. These constituents are endowed with anti-inflammatory, anti-edema and anti-proliferative actions on prostate.
Lycoprost SP Tablet has been used as supplement for the treatment of bladder pains, micturition problems, and benign prostatic hypertrophy.
Lycoprost SP Tablet relieves functional symptoms such as frequency, dysuria, nocturia, diurnal and nocturnal pollakiuria, perineal heaviness and incomplete bladder emptying which are symptoms associated with benign prostatic hypertrophy.
Lycoprost SP Tablet regresses the size of the prostate in patients with mild to moderate enlargement of the gland.
