Mecofree OD Capsule is a brand of Glucosamine.

Glucosamine is a nutritional supplement, used in the treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Glucosamine is a naturally occurring chemical found in the human body in the fluid that is around joints.
It stimulates the production of cartilage, which leads to joint repair. Maintains elasticity, strength, and resilience of the cartilage in articular (movable) joints. In addition to relieving pain and improving joint function, glucosamine also slows the breakdown of joints in people with osteoarthritis who take it long-term. It also keeps osteoarthritis from getting worse as quickly as it otherwise might. People who take glucosamine are less likely to need total knee replacement surgery.

Directions of use:
The recommended dose is 500 mg 3 to 4 times a day. It comes as a tablet and capsule to take by mouth, with food.
