Mecopil Forte tablet contains folic acid, lipoic acid, mecobalamin, vitamin B1and vitamin B6 as active ingredients. Methylcobalamin normalizes protein transport in the cells of diabetic patient. It exhibits inhibitory effects on nerve degeneration in people with neuropathies.Methylcobalamin accelerates the metabolic pathways of nucleic acids, proteins and lipids through its involvement in the transmethylation reaction; thus, it exerts a repairing effect on injured nerve tissues.
Lipoic acid or LA is a naturally occurring compound that's made in the body. It serves vital functions at the cellular level, such as energy production. Lipoic acid helps to prevent certain kinds of cell damage in the body, and also restores vitamin levels such as vitamin E and vitamin C. Adjunct therapy in severe muscle tightness and decrease in muscle mass
Anemia
Anemia due to folic acid deficiency
Convulsions
Folate deficiency caused by long-term red blood cell damage or kidney dialysis
