Mesort Tablet

Mesort tablet contains folic acid. Folic Acid is proven to reduce the risk of neural tube defects (NTDs) and birth defects such as spina bifida and anencephaly by as much as 70 percent if taken at least 1 month before pregnancy. The limited absorption of folic acid results in limiting the ability to build and maintain healthy reserves of folic acid and significantly increases the risk of birth defects.
Folic acid is also proven to lower levels of homocysteine - an amino acid linked to cardiovascular disease and more importantly, pregnancy complications. Such pregnancy complications include preeclampsia, low birth weight, miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss and placental abruption.
