Microgen Opadex Disinfectant
Opadex is a high-level disinfectant for reprocessing heat-sensitive reusable semi-critical medical devices such as endoscopes, for which heat sterilization is not feasible. Opadex is intended for use in manual (bucket and tray) systems made from polypropylene, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polyethylene, glass-filled polypropylene and/or polycarbonate plastics. Opadex can also be used in automated endoscope reprocessors. Activation is not required.
Uses:
Before high-level disinfection and sterilization thorough cleaning is required by using enzymatic cleaner like Zymokleen because inorganic and organic materials that remain on the surfaces of instruments interfere with the effectiveness of these processes.
