Calcium is a very important mineral, an essential part of bones and teeth. Calcium is used to prevent and treat calcium deficiency. Zinc is used to treat and prevent zinc deficiency and its consequences, including stunted growth and acute diarrhea in children.
Zinc boosts the immune system, treats the common cold and recurrent ear infections, and prevents lower respiratory infections. It is also used to treat malaria and other diseases caused by parasites.
