- Calcitriol is vitamin D analogue, used for hypocalcaemia. It helps in proper absorption and use of calcium and phosphate in the body. It works by helping the body to use more of the calcium found in foods and supplements
- Vitamin D is used for Bone strength and prevention of bone disorders like rickets, osteomalacia
- It also contains butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) as antioxidants
