MELANISING AGENTS
These are a group of photosensitive medicines that are used along with ultraviolet (UV) light therapy. They are prescribed for the treatment of skin conditions known as vitiligo and psoriasis. These medicines act by reducing the overproduction of skin cells and help to repigment the discolored, white patches of skin.
