Product introduction

It is advised to take Amlosea-H Tablet at a fixed time each day to maintain consistent levels of medicine in the blood. It is suggested to take it at day time to avoid the frequent urination at night. In case you have missed any doses, take it as soon as you remember it. Never skip any doses and finish a full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.

It may cause side effects like headache, edema, fatigue, nausea, abdominal pain, and sleepiness. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood pressure and electrolytes level while taking this medicine. If dizziness happens, avoid driving or attention seeking activity while taking this medicine.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease. You must tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You should also let your healthcare team know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

Amlosea-H Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. It also increases urine output. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

Amlosea-H Tablet is a combination of two medicines. S-Amlodipine, also known as levamlodipine, is a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic which lowers blood pressure by removing extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
