Arkamin H Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It makes you lose excess water through urine, hence try to take it at day time to avoid frequent urination at night. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.
Dryness of mouth, sedation and slow heart rate are some common side effects of this medicine. To overcome dryness of mouth practice frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and have sugarless candy. Regular monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes is important while using this medicine.
