BFX 100 MG TABLET is an antibiotic, used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues and lungs (pneumonia). It kills the infection causing microorganisms and cures the infection.

BFX 100 MG TABLET should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early then infection may return or worsen.

You may have allergic reactions, altered liver function tests, stomach pain and nausea as the side effects of this medicine. Please consult your doctor if these side effects bother you or persist for a longer duration. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it does not stop or if you find blood in your stools.

Before using it, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any medicine or have any kidney or liver problems. You should also let your doctor know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before using it. Your doctor may monitor your liver function while taking this medication.

How to use Bfx Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. BFX 100 MG TABLET may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Bfx Tablet works

BFX 100 MG TABLET is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.
