It should be taken by mouth with or without food. This medicine is given for long time as takes few months to show its effects. Thus, it is important to take it as advised by doctor and complete the full course of treatment.

It is usually well tolerated. However, it may produce some mild sexual side effects such as low sexual drive. Remember you should not donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of this medicine.

When your prostate gland becomes enlarged it can cause urinary problems such as difficulty passing urine and the need to go to the toilet frequently or urgently. It can also cause urine flow to be slower. If not treated, there is a risk that your urine flow will be completely blocked. Dutoid Capsule works by relaxing muscles in the bladder and prostate. So, it can rapidly relieve the symptoms and make it easier for you to urinate. It also helps to treat uncontrollable contractions (spasms) of the bladder muscles that causes frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and inability to control passing of urine. It also relieves painful, or frequent urination and reduces urgency to urinate. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed for maximum benefits.

Dutoid Capsule is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. It blocks an enzyme which is necessary to change testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow. As a result, it helps to shrink the prostate and relieve the symptoms like difficulty in passing urine.

Driving

Dutoid Capsule does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Dutoid Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Dutoid Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION

Dutoid Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dutoid Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Dutoid Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
