Finax Tablet is to be taken by mouth with or without food. The dose and duration of the medicine should be taken as per prescription. An overdose of it may cause harm to your health. It is better to take the medicine at the same time each day and it must be swallowed as a whole. It may take some time for the medicine to act upon the symptoms, so it is important to take the medicine regularly. The course of the treatment should be completed for better efficacy of the medicine.

This medicine is usually well tolerated. However, it may cause some mild sexual side effects such as low decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, and ejaculation disorder. Some people may also experience allergic reactions such as itching, rashes, and swelling of the lips or face. If you experience any of these side effects, consult your doctor without delay.

I was taking finax 1mg tablet for hair loss with minoxidil 10%. I experienced weight gain Though the hair results was very good. but due to side effects i stopped finax tablet. Its been 1 year now i stopped finax. But now I am again consulted to use MORR F 5% topical solution, which contains finastefide. I am worried that finasteride will again cause side effects of weight gain and gynavomastia. Being a topical solution of finastetide, will it cause those side effects? shall i continue it?

Dear PATIENT you are suffering from hormone mediated hair loss what we call androgenetic alopecia in medical terms. I can understand your problem but you need to understand that there is no permanent solution to this condition. you can apply Minoxidil 5% lotion 1 ml twice daily over dry scalp for 3 months. You have to apply Minoxidil for long period of time for new hair and also continue it as long as you wish for hairs.
