The most common side effects of this medicine are diarrhea and abdominal pain. They are temporary and usually resolve with time. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness. This medicine may also cause diarrhea, so it is better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine as it may help to prevent dehydration.

Gepride 50mg Tablet should not be given to patients in whom there is an increase in gastrointestinal movements. It is harmful in patients having mechanical obstruction or perforation of the gastrointestinal tract or gastrointestinal bleeding.
Food does not interfere with the working of Gepride 50mg Tablet. This medicine is generally recommended to be taken before meals.
