Product introduction

In some cases, Lynoral 0.05mg Tablet is also used to treat breast cancer and prostate cancer along with other anticancer medicines. The medicine is to be swallowed with water. It can be taken with or without food, but remember to take it at a fixed time each day for better efficacy. The dose and duration will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your symptoms. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any dose and finish the full course of treatment. The treatment should not be stopped abruptly without consulting your doctor as this may affect the potency of this medicine.

The most common side effects of this HRT are headaches, nausea, breast pain, irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting, abdominal cramps, vomiting, and hair loss. Some of the warning signs and symptoms that need immediate medical attention are breast lumps, unusual vaginal bleeding, dizziness and faintness, severe headaches, chest pain, shortness of breath, pains in your legs, etc.

Before taking this medicine, it is important to tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines for the same disease or other diseases. Before you initiate with this HRT, you must consult the doctor if you have a history of unexplained vaginal bleeding or if you have ever had a blood clot in your legs or your lungs. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should tell your doctor before taking this medicine. Your doctor may suggest you some diagnostic or laboratory tests to know the effects and side effects of this medicine on your body.

Benefits of Lynoral Tablet

Hormone replacement therapy
Hormone placement therapy (HRT) is a treatment to relieve symptoms of menopause such as hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings, vaginal dryness, and reduced sex drive. Since menopause can last for several years, this treatment can make a big improvement to your daily life and mood. Estrogen is one of two important hormones (the other is progesterone) used in this treatment. You should use this medicine as it is prescribed, and for as long as it is prescribed by your doctor.
Treatment of Prostate cancer
Prostate cancer is a common type of cancer in males, but it is highly treatable in the early stages. It starts in the prostate gland, which is located between the penis and the bladder. Lynoral 0.05mg Tablet helps treat prostate cancer by decreasing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. This further gives relief from the symptoms of prostate cancer such as difficulty in passing urine. Take Lynoral 0.05mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.
Treatment of Breast cancer
Lynoral 0.05mg Tablet relieves the symptoms of breast cancer such as breast lumps, bloody discharge from the nipple or changes in the shape or texture of the breast. It works by altering the production of those hormones in the body that are essential for the growth and spread of breast cancer. It may also interact with other hormones or have a direct effect on cancer to stop its growth. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.

How Lynoral Tablet works

Lynoral 0.05mg Tablet is a synthetic estrogen (female hormone). In women of reproductive age, it helps in maintaining normal menstrual cycle (periods). In women undergoing menopause, it works by fulfilling the deficiency of estrogen hormone, thereby preventing symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats and mood swings.

Quick tips

  • It may also be used to treat prostate cancer in men and to prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.
  • Take it at the same time everyday to help you remember to take it.
  • You may experience menstrual irregularities such as spotting or bleeding between menstrual periods or missed periods. Consult your doctor if this persists.
  • Ensure that you undergo regular breast screening (for presence of lumps or any abnormal changes) and cervical smear test while taking this medicine.
  • Stop taking this medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you notice unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain, severe headache, or changes in vision. These could be symptoms of a blood clot in a vein.
