Ruticool Cream should be used in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area before applying this medicine. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. Do not use your finger to apply this medicine. Do not stop using it suddenly without talking to your doctor, as it may lead to worsening of your condition.

Using of this medicine may cause application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching, and redness). These are temporary and usually resolves on with time. You should consult your doctor if any of these do not resolve with time and persists for a longer duration.

Avoid getting it into your eyes, nose or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, wash your eyes with water and seek immediate medical attention. You should stop using it and inform your doctor if you notice worsening of the infection or if you develop increased redness and irritation.

It also gives relief from swelling, itching and irritation caused due to piles. Apply Ruticool Cream 2-3 times a day after cleaning and drying the affected area properly. Consult your doctor if you do not see any improvement even after a week. Make sure to avoid spicy, oil-rich food and drink plenty of water and a fiber rich diet for a speedy recovery as well as to prevent piles in future.

How Ruticool Rectal Cream works

Ruticool Cream is a combination of five medicines: Lidocaine, Hydrocortisone, Phenylephrine, Zinc Oxide, and Calcium Dobesilate. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain thereby decreasing the sensation of pain. Hydrocortisone is a steroid which reduces redness, itching, and swelling due to piles/hemorrhoids. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that shrinks the swollen blood vessels to further relieve itching and irritation caused by piles/hemorrhoids. Zinc Oxide has astringent and antiseptic action. Calcium Dobesilate is a vasoprotective medicine which works on the walls of the small blood vessels and reduces their leakage and fragility. It also improves blood flow by decreasing viscosity/thickness of blood, thereby relieving inflammation (redness and swelling) in piles/hemorrhoids and promoting healing.

Do not take any oral laxative along with Ruticool Cream without consulting your doctor.
